Tiramisu…the new dessert shop on the block

I was kind of bored in Biometry lab…luckily the class is in a computer lab so being the oh so studious and attentive student I am I decided to see who was on aim. Luckily I caught Valeri who I haven’t seen in a while due to schedules and what not. I remember seeing a dessert shop along the City Shuttle route to school inside the same shopping center as Cal Copy and Yummy Maki Box. We passed by and surely enough it was open. This bakery occupies the same locate that Flour Power Cakery once did in the past. What I got from conversations between past customers on the the former bakery and the someone who seemed to be the current owner was that the business was purchased and the new owner decided to change the name. Considering how close to school it was we didn’t hold our breath on being amazed by the creations or the place itself. Right we were, the place was sparsely decorated and the slice of Chocolate Raspberry cake tasted a bit ”Duncan Hinsey”. We weren’t even sure if they actually made the cake since the slice divider had the name of a different bakery on it.

The owner was sweet and gave us some samples of their Tiramisu to try but I’m pretty certain that its the day old stuff. Nonetheless, it was nothing spectacular.
